PARTNERSHIP-BASED SUPPORT
An extension of your existing pastoral provision
Schools and professionals are often supporting young people with complex and competing needs. Mentoring can provide additional time, consistency and individual attention for those who would benefit from focused support.
Jack works collaboratively with the relevant members of staff to understand the young person’s circumstances, agree appropriate goals and deliver support that complements the provision already in place.
Communication remains clear throughout, with appropriate session records, progress updates and agreed next steps.
Individual support
Mentoring tailored around the young person’s needs, strengths and circumstances.
Clear objectives
Agreed goals provide focus and a way to recognise meaningful progress.
Professional communication
Relevant updates and feedback shared with the appropriate members of staff.
Flexible provision
Support can be arranged as regular 1:1 mentoring or a dedicated School Mentoring Day.
Every referral is considered individually.
Mentoring is not a replacement for clinical, therapeutic or emergency support.
WHEN MENTORING MAY HELP
Additional support for young people who may be struggling
Mentoring may be suitable for young people who would benefit from a consistent adult relationship, practical guidance and a safe place to talk outside their usual support network.
A formal diagnosis is not required. Referrals are considered according to the young person’s circumstances, willingness to engage and whether mentoring is an appropriate form of support.
Not sure whether mentoring is the right fit?
Jack is happy to have an initial professional conversation before a referral is made.

Poor attendance or school avoidance
Friendship or social difficulties
Family changes or difficult experiences
